No, I don't think your model does. I think it was around MY14/15 vehicles.
Thats good news. Ive been all through the car looking for a second battery but only found this :D

🤣 🤣 🤣 Imagine dealers putting that there during the last service. If you moan, all they got to do is press a button!
Someone told me that JLR have a similar device on the 3.0 sdv6 crankshafts 🤷‍♂️

To be fair I wish I hadnt changed the bugger as I have to remember to cancel the auto stop/start on every journey now
Mine has been OK since I changed it myself. It did give Low Battery a few times during the height of lockdown. I'm in two minds whether to code it since, opposite to you, my stop/start never works now.

This is how you reset the battery change in autologic.

Mind you that its similar to JLR dealer level equipment so autologic is following JLR pattern here.

Hello all.

My 2016 Ed4 also has the dreaded low battery 3 minute warning. Have read numerous posts across a number of forums and there seems to be a lot of confusion regarding whether or not a DIY change can be carried out - or even if a garage that’s not LR can do it. Have spoken to my local garage and they say they’re aware of the window re programme but are not aware of any other requirements. So, I am trying to find out what they would need to to do if they changed the battery for me.... the biggest thing seems to be whether or not the BSM needs to be re programmed which raises the question as to whether or not my car has BSM. Can a simple photo of the battery bay confirm this (Please see photo of battery in hope of advice)? I’m keen to avoid the price quoted to me by LR this morning for a battery change (£263.22 for the battery plus labour of £160 + VAT) but also want the car to ‘behave’ properly after it is done.... many thanks in advance for your help.

Where have I seen this? Am a JLR tech ( changed 00’s) and if your battery needs changing and it’s got BMS fitted it must be re-calibrated after a new battery is fitted.
Reason why it’s got 3 month voltage monitor build into the gateway module cjb which remembers driver usage , charging data etc.
If you don’t recalibrate the system will reboot the old data and not carry out the smart charging applied.
You say if it has BMS, could you tell me if the 2012 model has this please

Yes it does... And yes you should reset the BMS on a 2012, but many have not without issue.

Lol. I had just come the the conclusion it hasn’t got a BMS as it hasn’t got the part that someone earlier said it would have. No2 in the diagram. It’s going in for cambelt on Wednesday so I’ll ask them how much to reset it.

yes 2 bolts directly to the battery terminal, they look just like a terminal block!

I reset mine in my My2012 with my iCarsoftV3
