I've just purchased a 64 plate 2.2 SD4 pure. Is it possible to swap the door mirrors for the door mirrors seen on a higher spec with the indicator lights? If so, is it pretty much a straight swap?

You might be better giving some examples, there are a number of door mirror designs and they have optional bits in them, if you are thinking pre facelift to post facelift you will probably find they don't fit, although it may only be wiring etc.
You might be interested in reading through this thread. Probably a lot more involved than you intend, but I think the mirror upgrades are in there somewhere…
I picked up my RR Evoque Pure Tech a couple of weeks ago for a good price, considering how clean it is, plus FSH. Only a couple of owners from new too. I was actually looking for a Dynamic, as I love the styling. But for my budget, I couldn't find a decent one. The ones I did find, had higher...
Thanks @DKZ5745, I received a PM asking about them. But in case anyone needs the info ...
All MK1 door mirrors are interchangable. You can put a facelift door mirror on a pre-facelift Evoque ... and vice-versa (though I doubt you'd want to).
The 2015 onwards, they became smaller and better looking. The indicator moved to below the mirror guard and gained a smoked black lens. They are also powerfold, but I have had no success in getting that bit working yet. But they still manually push fold. It takes about 45 minutes to do both sides and are dead simple. Remove door card, unplug red mirror connector, undo 3 x torx bolts from the mirror, swap, and put everything back.
This is pre-facelift that I removed. You can see the 3 x torx bolts on the right, along with the red connector.
Great info - do you know whether the new mirrors powerfold mechanism actually worked before you fitted them, or is this possibly a wiring issue between the two models?
The latter, as the previous mirrors weren't powerfold. There is a slight pinout difference. I think there are 2 extra wires on the powerfold one. Probably power and signal (fold/unfold).
@Katrina suggested holding down both mirror buttons on the driver's door to see if that open/closed them. Unfortunately that doesn't work, I tested today.
Those of you with powerfold mirrors, how do you manually fold/unfold the mirrors electronically? Is there a button within the car?
No single button to fold the mirrors. They fold by pressing the left and right buttons to select which mirror you want to adjust at the same time like you've already tried so must be a problem with yours.
I'm impressed by how much one can pack into a tiny box:
Heated Mirror.
Tilt twist motor.
Indicator.
360 camera.
Courtesy spot light.
Folding mirror motor.
And I live in the countryside - so how long before these get wiped out!
Worse still - how much are they (gulp).
