It's a standard information on all vehicles with a combustion engine so it makes sense to view it.
It seems that JLR simply forgot to put it on the p300e dashboard.
The remaining battery capacity has taken its place on the dashboard

I think other manufacturers may have dropped this gauge in ICE cars.
Seems daft to me. But you just get a warning if something's not right! Perhaps LR have done this? It's a brave new world.

The engine temp gauge will be more important later on in the car's life - otherwise how would you know if you have a failed-open stat and the engine is running cold all the time?

Going by the posts about component failures on new vehicles, I'm not sure it's an age thing
