What OBD scanner is everybody using?

Hi all.
My PCP Evoque will be going back shortly.
It's a 2.0 so yes an ingenium engine.
It's a 2017 MY HSE model, and TBH I do like it.
However I'm buying a 2014 2.2 with less miles and very nearly the same spec.
I'm frightened to death that the 2.0L will go bang before they collect it so I won't be using it, as the cost if they do go is eye watering, and I certainly won't benefit.
I've had two Freelander 2's before this, and the engine is nearly bulletproof.
Even LR technicians have commented that the FL2 has probably been the best car LR have produced from a reliability point of view.
I want to buy a half decent OBD scanner.
What's everybody using?

I use the Foxwell NT530 which has free software updates for the production lifetime of the tool. It comes with one model of car already downloaded but you can then download software for various other models. It is a little clunky to use and download software, but it has done loads of useful jobs on my LR and Porsche cars such as battery, DPF and EGR initialisations, module testing and of course fault code reading.
I've never used an iCarsoft so I can't say which is best.

I use the icarsoft v3 which does much more than just read codes (eg air pathway reset, which the 2.2Ds seem to need). I got it for ÂŁ150 from LRParts in August but the price seems to have gone up since then.

I also got a 2014 2.2D because I was warned off the newer engine by everyone I spoke to that works on Land Rovers. Local dealers are apparently replacing multiple 2.0 engines a week. I was also advised to get a manual rather than the 9 speed auto. Can't say I am overly impressed with reliability so far. I seem to have had constant issues with intermittent power loss (solved after a couple of months by the air pathway reset) and the scuffing/chuffing (ongoing since July and probably EGR related).
