Rogers of Bedford shout out

Just a quick shout out for independent specialist Rogers - https://www.rogersofbedford.co.uk/
In particular Andrew there who has been awesome in supporting my Evoque.

We had a tiny bump, nose to tail, about 800m from the JLR dealership. The bump did almost zero surface damage (the bumper bounced straight back again) but the wiring loom which should have been safely tucked behind the structural bar at the front hadn't been (well done JLR) and the loom connector smashed causing every single driver system error... I mean everything, no gear selector up, no 4X4 warning, basically everything flashing red and no way of even getting into neutral to move the **** thing out of the junction.

Guess what the answer was from the JLR dealership, which I could see from the junction - yup, you guessed it... "nothing we can do. You'll need a tow truck". And not just that but the worst customer attitude I've ever encountered along the way.

Andrew on the other hand jumped in a Disco popped down to see us at the junction. Put the Evoque manually into neutral (lever behind the air box) to move it and recovered it to them at Rogers. Two days later, one wiring loom connector replaced and back on the road.

Now they've got my MOT and servicing work in perpetuity, all of which so far has been top notch.

So that's it... a shout out for a great independent Landy specialist, give them a try if you are local!

Ain't it great to see the smaller Indies going above and beyond and its that personal touch that are gaining these guys so much recognition.

It's such a shame as you say that JLR dont have the same concerns about the customers that spend ÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁ's on their brand only to be let down.
