I am experiencing multiple rear noise as well. Not sure if it sound like creaking noise.Sent to the dealer twice.


First time.
-changed the rubber holding the exhaust to the chassis.
(Good for ~10km then same sound happens again)






Second time
-Tighten/modify the heat shield.
-Readjust the tailgate rubber
-Tighten licence plate.
(Very Good/complete silent for ~150km then one of the noise occur again. This noise is very noticeable when the rear wheels depart from a speed bumps at low speed.)


Dealer readjusting the tailgate rubber(it stick out like fangs from the tailgate when you open the tailgate) did help eliminate the rattling noise when in low rev and reverse gear.Frankly I tighten this rubber couple weeks back as i though it suppose to be completely in. Obviously i was wrong.(this noise is now solved)






As for the heat shield, they said it was the heat shield hitting the exhaust pipe so they tighten and/or did some modification to the heat shield. Not sure exactly which location its hitting.
I am assuming the mod heating shield came loose again after a trip, because the modification help eliminate the noise for quite a long distance.


Will send it back to dealer see what they will do and keep you posted.


One last noise advise. Whenever the passenger seatbelt is used, it usually get caught on between the seat and the side(plastic) after unbuckled, which cause little noise.

 

Had the same problem. Turns out it was the rubber doors seals. These move as the body twists slightly (over speed bumps/mounting kerbs etc) and creak against the metal door frame. This is a KNOWN problem and Land Rover have a fix for this which involves changing out the door seals for ones with a slightly different compound. I had mine changed under warranty and it has completely cured the problem. speak to your dealer and you should have no more problems. Rob

 

Hi Rob. Thank you for sharing and good for you that yours had been fixed. The noise which i experience came from the boot area. It sound more like something loose and vibrating/resonance everytime over speed bumps. The rubber which you mention, it's the black rubber that seals water from getting through the doors right?

i have some creaking noise too.... mine seems to be from the seat.. its obvious when you pass through bumpy roads. agent here putted some grease/oil to the front seat and take that away however the back seat is also affected. yet to bring to agent for this again.

 

 

Mine in the dealers now AGAIN due to similar issues. I have rear knocking when driving on bumpy roads at low speeds and the rear of the car is extremely rattly. Also got creaking on the centre console when accelerating and breaking.

 

Also have a Dynamic. Same problem. No fix as yet.....

 

Update. My Car is in the Dealers for a similar knocking from the rear of the car, Land Rover have just rang to inform me that there was a Bulletin just realised dated 31st July stating all Evoque Dynamics to be recalled due to knocking from the suspension, new system setup to be enforced to fix the issues.

 

Can you send me a copy of the bulletin please . Did they say what has to be changed
