Just logged onto Topix and noticed a new outstanding campaign against my vehicle

Q634-Gateway Module Stay Awake Battery Drain

Anyone have information on this?

I rang my ever so unhelpful service dealer and he said dont worry we do these when the vehicle comes in for a service - I replied my vehicle had just been service so wasn't prepared to wait another 10 months (or even 16 months if its a 18 months interval)

Its booked in for later this week as "its only a download update""

Any info would be apprecaited

Interesting!!!
LRA did the update for me as I was getting the battery drain issue.
Doesn't seem to have fixed it though.
It's with the dealer at the moment.

Was done on mine last week - I didn't have any (noticeable) problems beforehand.

Since then however I noticed, that Start/Stop works a lot more reliably than it did before. Now the car shuts off pretty much at every red light, before it was somewhat of a rare occurrence...

Could just be that when carrying out updates, the vehicle has to be connected to a battery charger as you'll get problems if it drops below a certain voltage while installing updates. Probably ok now because it's just had a good charge!

Stop start won't operate if the battery voltage is below a safe limit, so your battery is clearly in better shape now.

got the car back from the dealers last week - haven't had any battery warning messages, but start stop doesn't seem to work. :-( oh well!
