Ingenium Timing Chain Recall (Korea?)

There have been a number of posts over the years about timing chain problems on some Ingenium engines.
There's not much info ATM, but a new post on the DS forum says JLR Korea have issued a recall for this.

If anyone ends up in a battle with LR over this perhaps this can be used as ammunition.

Just ran the recall through a translator. I can’t post an image it seems but a quote of the first paragraph:

“This notice is sent to you in accordance with Article 31 of the Korean Automobile Management Act. Your
vehicle has been determined to have a manufacturing defect in the engine oil pump and upper/lower timing chain. This customer notice
is a notice for prior notice before corrective action, and we will notify you again as soon as the corrective action schedule
is confirmed.“

Helpful thank you. I was recently told by a garage doing a diagnostic on a faulty rotary gear selector that I have a slight chain rattle on my 2.0D 2016 Evoque . ! It’s bothering me when I read about the number of chain failures. It’s not just oil dilution either on lower mileage cars as I have a customer who had a leased 3 yr old Disco Sport that started ratttling 6 Months before the end of the lease, told him not to worry then it gave up 2 months later - over £12k it’s cost the lease company for a new engine etc.

my local garage specialist will do it for me and I’m minded to get it done for peace of mind as any battle with JLR will take a long time unless anyone can say they have had any success with JLR over this ?

I would hate to have to go battle with JLR about who's going to pay for my 10k engine, they'll quite happily sit back and send silly emails as to why they aren't liable and make you sweat while your car is garage pound somewhere totting up storage fees most probably as well, luckily for me my 3rd party warranty paid the £2700 bill a dealer hit me with
