Had our evoque for 3 days so still figuring it all out but where on earth is the sim card? (2021 model) I see on the display that there is 4g in the car? So where is the sim card and who is paying for it?? I assume its not free?

4G and SOTA will still be present (since MY21) however the services they use will no longer be operational if you no longer have the subscription associated with each service : Online Data pack, remote, navigation pro, secure track pro, Wifi hotspot...
Note that there is probably a eSim duo of which one would be reserved for JRL for some functions.

If you bought it from a Stealer then you should have all the subscriptions paid for at least a year.
