Welcome to the EOC Bazza

as mentioned above there are loads of good post of things to check before buying.
I‘ve had mine since 2013 and have both online and paper service history book.

Be aware that any 2013 or earlier diesel Evoque is due a cam belt change so if it hasn’t been done budget for a £700 job in the near future.

Think of factory options that you want that are difficult or impossible to retrofit. E.g Panoramic Roof, Dynamic suspension, 360 cameras, etc.

Along with the full JLR service history, Premium tyres (Pirelli or Michelin) are a good indicator that the owner hasn’t skimped on maintenance and replace items like for like.

Good luck, there are loads of great cars to choose from, Enjoy the process.
Just got a jan 13 2.2 sd4 with 49k on clock and just read your post on timing belt, what's the intervals on these? Thank you

I have recently inquired about it and most dealers/ JLR confirmed that its 8th service or 112K miles (whichever comes first).

However, Sadie was informed that its 7 years as mentioned above by XZ4.

As Maffy says, the cam belt service is the Kings Coin!
This is only the cam belt and does not include the water pump, the screen shot is when it was at the 9 year service.
Ignore the yellow box round the 5 year service, it’s the £1,100 at the JLR Stealers that caught my eye.

I'm assuming you wrote the red ink 'WOW'.
If not.... then ignore my question.

Yep the “wow” and yellow box was mine, an old picture from a couple of years ago when due the 5 year service (luckily on the great value JLR service pack that cost less than that one service).
It may look like I used my left hand, but I am right handed 😀

Writing on an iPad with your finger is fun!

Every day is a school day!

I just had to google cuddy wifter, I guessed what you meant but thought I’d check.
I have never heard that term before!
