I can see this thread has been around for a while so I’m hoping someone can help me. I’m about to buy a 2015 eD4 2.0l 2WD Evoque. It’s currently done 30,000. Should I be looking to get the belt/chain replaced? Is ot a chain it has?

If it's a 2L then it's a MY16 with the Ingenium engine, so a chain.
