I have an Evoque 2015 (65) Dynamic Lux SD4 in which the offside front suspension coil spring has just suddenly and with no warning catastrophically failed. No warning or indication that this was about to happen was noticed. The car has never been abused, obviously, and the springs look like they are otherwise in great condition.
Has anyone had anything like this happen? The other springs all look great with no rust or visible damage or wear. I had literally just started the engine and was reversing out of the garage when there was a loud bang. The car has now collapsed to the end stops on the suspension and the spring is visibly in two interwoven halves!
Any experience with this failure would be great fully received. i do have the extended warranty still and this should be covered in my view.
