Thankyou I will check it ouHi, sounds like it could be a battery problem. Try a search, a few people have seen this.
PS. It's worth updating your profile with your Evoque year and spec to help with answers![]()
Was it expensive to get checked out?Common issue, it's widely said that it's the back up battery within the sos module that's failed, had it on ours and the dealer carried out a software update and said it would cure it, I wasn't convinced but a year later so far so good
Thankyou so much. I only bought the car Sunday. So in a bit of a panic mode. I bought from a specialist dealer not Land Rover direct. It’s a prestige lux model 2014 with all the gadgets so I will be gutted if I start getting problems already.FOC in our case, the lithium battery is rated for 10 years as its doesn't do a lot being a back up battery, most reported cases are on cars around MY16 so about 4 years old, LR are aware of the issue despite what they tell you
Thanks for putting my mind at rest really kind of youThankyou so much. I only bought the car Sunday. So in a bit of a panic mode. I bought from a specialist dealer not Land Rover direct. It’s a prestige lux model 2014 with all the gadgets so I will be gutted if I start getting problems already.
Trying to get hold of them. Thanks againIf you've only just got it then then it should be fixed under warranty from where you bought from, if they need to take it to a main dealer thats their problem so should be FOC as far as your concerned
