I have a 2015 Range Rover Evoque (USDM Petrol, but don't think it matters) and am looking for some tips on how to replace the rear lift gate weather strip (#8 in attached diagram).

Anyone have any info on replacing this or have done it before? Thanks in advance.

I’ve never replaced it but thought it was just pushed on to the metal edges of the body panels.
Mine is MY13 and still perfect, why do you need to replace?

yea i'm wondering if i can just literally pull it off.

the reason I want to replace it because I did something idiotic and put too much things in the boot. Closed the lift gate and the hanging cover ripped the weather seal on both sides of the weather strip.

Thanks! I thought there would be a proper way of replacing it by the service manual, but if its pull off push on then it should be simple. The weather strip is pretty tight on the frame, so maybe some extra elbow grease is needed.

The service (workshop) manual will no doubt document removal and replacement.
But this is just an owner's club forum :)
