Evening all

First post, but I’ve got a few questions. I’m replacing the boost pipe, or was in the middle of and it got dark so had to stop.
It’s just 2 jubilee clips but it’s an absolute pain in the arse getting your hand in to do it, is there an easier way?

Also, while doing this I noticed there was a bit of oil in the general area, this could be from the split and a bit of residual oil as there is oil inside the hose, however I noticed there was 2 rubber hoses, about 4mm(?) diameter that aren’t connected to anything, and I’m not sure if they are supposed to be. I’ve had it in the garage a few times recently and they have gone right off the boil so I’ve lost faith in them and decided to just do this myself.

I’ll try and add a picture of what I’m talking about.

That’s it, I’m not sure what it is connected to, I originally thought a filter maybe but now I’m not sure. One side goes into whatever it is, the other looks like it goes into the engine block.

Thanks in advance for any help.
