Hi,
I reckon that the adaptive dynamics option has Magneticride. But do you know whether the standard dampers are Mageride too, just without the option to make dampers stronger on demand?

Tks!

I've read a few of the reviews now and they all comment on the dynamics option having the Magneride but I've not seen comment for any of the other trim levels.

For what its worth it has some real good reviews - better than the Ferrari system!

Land Rover's Evoque is the first application of Tier One BWI's latest magnetorheological damper technology. The third-generation Magneride system improves the compact SUV's vehicle dynamics while maintaining ride quality.Passing an electric current though coils in the pistons changes the behaviour of the magnetorheological fluid, producing variable damping forces. The significant improvement from generation two to three is the use of twocoils per damper instead of one.Land Rover's principal engineer for electronic damper systems, Ian Hulme, said: ""It's twice as fast as the previous generation, used in vehicles such as the Ferrari 458 or Audi R8. Everything that the driver does with the car ""“ and that the road inputs to the vehicle ""“ is measured 1000 times a second. Using that information we calculate the exact amount of damping for each individual damper.""The response time is less than 10ms, and damping forces at each corner typically change 50 times a second. This gave enabled the Evoque's chassis engineering team to use a Skyhook control strategy, which delivers control of the vehicle's wheel and body motion at the same time.""We have the responsiveness and agility that we want for the Evoque without sacrificing comfort,"" said Hulme. ""But it wouldn't be a Range Rover if it couldn't handle off-road as well. This is the world's first Magneride system to have automatic terrain sensing. We can detect a change in surface within two seconds. Then we can optimise every control module in the car for the surface.""Using two coils also increases the maximum damping forces. At the highest setting, the Evoque's units develop up to 3kN at 1m/s piston velocity. And because the struts are inverted monotube units, the increased pressure tube diameter greatly improves bending resistance, reducing friction and furtherimproving response.A ride in a pre-series prototype at Land Rover's proving ground demonstrated the efficacy of the system. Even cresting a large hump in the roadat over 145km/h with the dampers in the standard setting didn't upset the vehicle's balance in any way.

Is there any other options we should add.

Delivery date of October are we to late to add anything?

Hi,
If you have ordered the Fugi White then I am guessing you are having a black interior Y/N?
If so then I would probably add the SOLAR ATTENUATING GLASS as an option.
The roof obviously doesn't open and it can get pretty sticky inside on a hot day if parked up.

No stickier than a normal tin top on a hot day...I thought the evoque would cook with such a huge expanse of glass.....spending2 days with the evoque and 30 degree's outside...suprised the cabin remained cool

Yip the magneride system on the evoque is 3rd generation.........means far more responsive
