UPDATE: GO TO POST #39 FOR MY OOONO 2 REVIEW
(Spoiler alert: It's not brilliant).
Having picked up a speeding ticket last Sunday - absolutely not my day as the day started with a nail in the edge of my tyre, so the tyre had to be replaced and as Kwik Fit are the only place open around here on a Sunday I wasn't able to shop around - I then found I'd been hit with a speeding fine by a speed camera driving through Ormskirk. Incredibly frustrating as most of my journey was on 50mph roads but for much of the way I was stuck behind 3 cars towing horse boxes so only averaged 34mph, so just not my day. But anyway, I digress.
I have two old speed camera detectors sat in a drawer, which might as well go in the bin. A Snooper S5-R, one of the very early models which hasn't been supported for years, and a DriveSmart something or other and they seen to have gone bust. They've gone anyway.
So I'm in the market for a new one and found this Ooono thing. Only £70, a fraction of what I paid for the other two, and much less intrusive as you just get a flashing light and sound when a camera is detected. Seems ideal to me but (like any product) gets a few bad reviews so I wondered if anybody has any experience of them?
