I do a blast down the A12 every so often just for regen purposes. Waste of fuel and not exactly green .
Next car will be a petrol hybrid either the evoque or a Mercedes if LR dont play ball with me next March

You’re quite right Yoda , it’s not practical if you were not advised of the situation when car was purchased... and it’s not green at all ... yours is red 😜

I knew about it when getting the Velar as had my16 evoque before. Works out not too bad for me as usually occurs on month 23 so get the service done at the same time. Think the DPF must be squeaky clean after Penelope Pitstop, aka Mrs Y, drove back from Devon😊

I had hoped that going to an in line engine in the Velar would improve oil dilution compared to the transverse layout in the Evoque but both seemed to be practically identical at 23 months for an oil and filter change.
