That's way better than I imagined
Yes, it could have been worse! It cost quite a bit more than planned - but I did a lot more than planned. End of the day, I now have a very tidy motor that I am loving to bits 👌

And now ... on to the next project 😅

@slaine Looks very nice (y)
On the 'costs' front - did your insurance change much for being modified?

Since they class the changes as cosmetic and not performance or structural, it works out as 11% increase per year. Which I don't mind now that it's insured for its true value. I.e. original car cost + modification costs.

Looks amazing!! Have you seen the fog lamp fins that Powerful uk do? I've just added them to mine with corris grey inserts and they add a nice touch to the front....... not sure they are available for the Dynamic as yet though...... must get my wheels changed to black! :)

Thanks! I know that they've been planning to release them for sometime. Good to hear they're available for some models now. The Dynamic has a larger vent opening in the bumper, compared to other models. I'll keep any eye out when Powerful UK release those 👍

So, inspired by @slaine I have spent the last couple of days modifying a couple of body panels, let me know what you think…

I think I might have gone a bit too far with the 77 decals 🤔

You passed the wife test?! Clearly you had more available to spend then 😜😂 Must try harder next time! 🤣

In all seriousness though that was a fantastic build very well documented and thought out.
The end product looks amazing and you sound happy with it which is the most important part 👍🏻
Much kudos.

You must have got the last set - I'm on the waiting list for when they come back in to stock. Are they good quality when you see them up close?
They seem fine to me. They were a doddle to fit, and there are no gaps or rattles. And I am pleased with the way they look on the car.

Just expanding on this, as it is a good question and may help others ...

I was with Sainsburys Insurance before for £335. But obviously, not many high street insurers will factor in modifications when agreeing the car value. I have used Adrian Flux many times before, as they are for 'special cars', such as classics, performance and kit cars. I called them and they quoted £322, plus and additional £54 for 'agreed value benefit'. I basically fill out an online form listing all modifications and upload 7 photos. I am then guaranteed the new value of the car. I.e. what it's worth to me 👍

TL;DR ... it cost £41 more, but now has an agreed value of £19K 😁

Classic Car Insurance & Specialist Car Insurance | Adrian Flux are sponsors on the other forum I’m a member of Peugeot RCZ Forum and I know they have helped many members with modified cars.
That's a good point. Adrian Flux did ask me if I'm a member of any car clubs or forums, I told them 'Evoque Owners Club'. They said that gets me some discount of the insurance. I should have asked how much. If I speak to them again, I will get the info. Fair do's, they are a good insurance broker.

Yes, forgot to mention that, I can’t remember the discount either, but they do offer one if you mention you are from a forum.
Maybe if I tell them I’m in this one & the RCZ forum I’ll get 2 discounts 🤔😆

I would be great if they could come on to the forum as a site sponsor or something, if they could cover pano roofs too i'm sure they'd make a killing

I’ll message them on the RCZ forum, see if they are interested 🤔
