Hi all, opinions on mudflaps good idea or bad idea, some minor offroad use, general road use and a lane where cattle cross.

Ummm yea they are subtle enough to slap a set on...not sold a set yet though...probably because I have never mentioned them and 2 my customer has not asked for them
Would I put a set on if I bought one?....probably not...............now your well confused!!

They do serve a purpose though

Thanks Mortz, Yes confused, nothing new there. I might have to see them first. There seems to be fewer cars on the road with mudflaps fitted. I had a look at the Mercedes C class sportbefore the Evoque. Mercedes don't supply mudflaps for it. Dealer said he could order them from a stockist but most people thought it spoiled the profile of the sport bodywork.
Appreciate your comments though.

I always go for mudflaps, all of the previous comments are true plus they help stop the road dirt getting onto the back screen on wet roads. They are not expensive and not too big and obtrusive looking so I am definitley having them on my Evoque.
