Also noticed the P300 has active driveline .. which seems to be a more trick capable AWD system ? does anyone have any experience of this ?
I'm surprised they call it that as it's totally different than the ICE vehicles. The P300e has an electric rear drive only.

***Ignore that, I've just re-read and see you are referring to a P300 😊

Hello yes you are correct .. the P300 is the 2.0 Turbo engine with active driveline (the P300 same engine as the FTYPE P300)

Yep.
You can go into the lower screen and select it to appear on the main screen.
Bit of a gimmick but interesting to see where the drive is going and how much at each corner.
You will also have an auto button which is a catch-all for off road or tricky conditions.
But you can still select the various modes yourself.
Has it got dynamic suspension as standard ?
I didn't spec the R-Dynamic so had to add it as an option but well worth it.

Yes fine thanks.
I don't think you can.
The days of manually operated diff locks are a thing of the past.
When I was playing around with it on local roads it was in AWD all of the time.
Apparently it drops to 2WD when you are "in the cruise" but never got to check that.
I would think if you select one of the additional driving modes for off-road or snow etc it will engage AWD.
Dynamic suspension is a superb addition.
New Mustang is now estimating at dealer mid October.
🙂

Ok .. just a quick update, hopefully placing order Monday (tomorrow) but sad to see our 68 plate P250 go .. why do we do this to ourselves what I mean is get rid of a perfectly running car just for a new one. But I suppose the HST P300 is a step up or just man maths

Also would like to point out the excellent service we received from Land Rover Lookers Colchester . .got a great deal on our trade in Evoque full market value and received a % discount as a returning VIP customer as this will be our 3rd Evoque from this dealership ..
special mention to sales executive Carl Pratt and finance manger - Daniel Boyle
They even ordered a taxi for us to take us home all the way to Rayleigh on dealerships account .. can't be bad, now the long wait and umpteen colour changes 🤣

Great to hear of good service from a JLR dealer, we hear so many negative comments on here. 👍 (although I do realise sales and after sales can differ considerably when it comes to customer service).

Hello club members .. hope all is well

Just thought I would ping this out there ... thinking about changing my spec to a Autobiography, main reasons better luxury interior and actually a cheaper car due to the final payment being slightly higher

A HST with options is a lot more expensive .. also not bothered about the sliding roof etc, but then would not have the P300 engine with Active Driveline etc is this a big deal ? so with the Autobiography would loose the P300 engine and sliding pano roof and drop to a P250 engine with the normal Haldex 5 generation AWD system and a fixed pano roof but every thing else pretty much standard in the price as an example the higher quality 650w stereo system full extended leather etc

plus have the F Type for fun weekend stuff .. strange they have limited the P300 to the HST only
thoughts ??
