Google translate gives me this!

It is not familiar personally with the British automotive industry, and ofroud in its understanding - is a 40-year-old Smirnov with a shovel.

What's in a name? Evoque eh?

Well it isn't a real word for starters but it does sound and has to have European reach so I'd suggest it's a mix 'n' match of the following sentiments which each have very similar words and meanings in Latinesque lingos like French/Spanish and Italian...

1 Sounds like 'evocative'... ie reminds you, warmly, of the Range Rover brand perhaps

2 Maybe derived from 'To evoke'... ie to conjure up a familiar feeling from the past; countryside sailing by and so on

and

3 La Belle Epoque... meaning a golden age perhaps ie wishful thinking as things stand at present ;(...

Anyway, enough time wasted trying to understand what Land Rovers highly paid marketers will no doubt explain to us all if they read this at some stage...
