I have found that the financing of my Evoque to be very uncompetitive, and therefore, since I have a bit of time have explored other options.

I have decided to go for a bank loan, which ends up paying about £3k less in interest than through either the option or advanced purchase packages.

I was intending to pay the balance on a 0% credit card. Does anyone know if they are reluctant to accept credit cards? Do they take AMEX?

Thanks

Why would they even consider taking your AE card? Good deal for you, but about a 3% hit for the dealer with AE's fees.

My dealer did kind of offer to take a CC for about $3000 of the total price, but that offer slipped away in the
"closing room". Don't know where you are, but in the US the RR best financing deal is 1.9% for 3 years. If you can find a bank that beats that deal, I would be very surprised. That said, £3K is a chunk of change.
