Really interesting vid makes us wish for inclement weather.
It was great to see how composed the Evoque was on compacted snow and ice.
The hill start assist is very clever and does away with those old handbrake hill starts that you needed for your driving test. I wonder how you'd get on taking your test in an Evoque ?
The aborted hill attempt holding the car at 5 mph intreagued me, does the hill decent have to be active for this to work?
Just watched this video Kojak, fascinating.
In fact for me, since I've 'only' ordered the 2WD it was incredible to see just how good even that was on the sheet ice incline. Obviously not as good as the 4WD but it still managed it incredibly well, amazing technology.
I never really checked, does even the 2WD have stability control to assist with certain conditions?
The dealer ordered from said they took a 2WD out a couple of years ago to test and it did remarkably well in the snow.
Didn't look like it on the video on the 2WD - could be wrong of course.
