60 MPG is Awesome from a Range Rover!

I am sure mine is nearer 2000rpm at 70MPH. I'll have to look closer.

The historical data readout is great. What are the green percentages for along the top?

Does the scale change or is it always "0" "30" and "60" mpg?

Impressive - How do you access that stuff on the centre screen, or is it perhaps a MY14 thing?

Ive had 60+ on a couple of trips, not doing that speed though - been on a 30mph road.

And CBW - your not using 6th

It's a MY14 package.

Ruddy hell those are good figures.

I was on a Private Road the other day and at 90mph, it was revving just below 2000 RPM.

The 6 speed auto is around yours in sixth CBW, but the 9 speed is much lower revving at that speed in ninth.

Impressive figures, but I don't know how you achieved those Sking. What shoe size are you?

That is really interesting that the eD4 has higher gearing in 6th to get the extra economy. I both ought it was all down to having less weight and 2wd.
Thank you LT very funny :)
Sorcerer - so the 6 speed auto pulls about the same rpm as the td4 (between 1900 & 2000).
What does the sd4 pull At 70mph?

My Dynamic Sd4 manual 6 speed at 70 mph was revving at around 1950.
I believe my old 6 speed Dynamic Sd4 auto was similar from memory, but my 9 speed Dynamic Sd4 auto is revving at 1500 at 70 mph....all in top gear.

I'd be pleased with that historical data.

52 is my best figure.

I'm averaging 42 mpg.

Just over 2000 miles covered since new in mid July and average from the computer hovers around 52 mpg. Mixture of fast A roads, short town journeys and motorway 'cruise control' set at 65mph. Feels very sharp and more torquey than the BWW 320d it replaced.
