I got mine on Saturday gone and it was ordered in July so hopefully things are speeding up for everyone waiting for there new cars, some dealers are advertising quick build slots aswell.

No, just the standard R-Dynamic S version Eiger Grey. Only thing i added was the spare wheel. For some reason it actually annoys me knowing that people are driving around without a spare wheel.
well it can't be the fact that it's the extras that's holding you up .. hopefully it'll be here soon .. only thing I can think off is they've stopped out 2 wheel drives so maybe stopped yours for a while and due to start again soon I hope ? fingers crossed not to long now .. 🤞

New to the forum and this thread has been an interesting read. Unsurprisingly, it echos similar sentiments from the Jag F-Pace forum, except the F-Pace seems worse ! I had ordered a F-Pace late last year and have just cancelled the order as it still doesn't have a build date. It was supposed to be up to 6 months for delivery.
Found a LR dealer who had build slots avialable so ordered a P300e Autobiography. Build date is mid August with handover early September. Hopefully the dates won't slip but I wouldn't be surprised if they did (but not by too much
).
When I first went to the LR dealer they had four Evoque's just delivered so hopefully this is a good sign that they are able to turn the builds round a bit quicker.
Wasn't planning on the P300e but after having two long test drives, I was pleasantly surprised with the ICE. Just counting the weeks down now. For those of you who have been waiting for several months, I admire your patience and hope your wait comes to an end shortly.

I called Halewood Customer Experience Centre today to see if they might be able to tell me if my car has started build or when it’s planned (neither my dealer nor JLR HQ has any idea as to what stage the car is/was at other than eta at the dealership). I was quite surprised when they called me back and said the car has already started ‘early production’ but they could arrange it to be delayed until I could come down for the experience of seeing it being put together. I just about choked on my coffee and left them in no doubt that there was to be zero delays and DO NOT pause the build lol. Still due at my dealers on/by 20 May (slipped from 13 May) after reordering at the start of February. It has been a bit of a wait since I first ordered the P400e Velar which they then cancelled (and I walked away) to then ordering the MY22 P300e Evoque last Autumn for it to be cancelled and re-ordered as a MY23!! This car better be bloody worth it! I’m resigned to the fact that I will no longer be driving about in a sub 5 second 0-60 SUV but I’m also glad that I shouldn’t have the same running costs either. Let’s wait and see eh. Chuff Chart is not my friend.
I hope your faith in them is rewarded.
I’m in a similar situation to you with the sub 5 second. In my case, probably not a bad thing (well that’s what my wife would say 😆).

Mine too! I have always been a performance car sorta bloke so this is a real culture change for me. I know it’s no slouch but that is all relative to what an owner is used to previously. I need to learn to drive it ‘sedately’ to get the best from it. And THAT is why my Wife is so excited 😔. I’m currently easing myself into the world of driving a 3 cylinder ICE vehicle with her Mini Cooper. It’s different for sure but my driving habits have already changed 😂

I used to tear around everywhere in my younger days and had MK1 and 2 Escort RS's in the late 80's, that was till Derbyshire Constabulary and a local Magistrate decided that a break from driving might do me some good - it did, still had fast cars after getting my licence back but I was sensible this time round and kept it that way for 30 years leaving all that rev limiter, pops and bangs, flames and stuff behind for a more sedate ride, nowadays I just want to put it in comfort, put some Andre Rieu on and just float around in my Rangey...................while spying a mint 3dr cossie over the road

You should call the factory. I got more useful info from them in one phonecall than I got from my dealership AND JLR HQ in 6 months!!! 😏

Oh that's interesting? What do you need when calling them, the order number? And which factory? I'm based in Ireland but suppose it will be in the UK
