Very disappointed with the interior lighting on my car, No lighting in rear footwell’s, front’s are ok but very dim!

Was going to fit extra rear lights under each front seat for rear footwell’s, but it means disconnecting each seat and the dreaded Airbag connector’s so decided to fit one into centre console under rear air vent’s

I got some dual colour LED’s from powerful Uk
Brighter than original’s and at night fade into a nice blue glow

I already had extra led fitted into centre cubbyhole so just had to extend the wiring into the rear

New LED’s are much brighter, rear footwell’s are now all lit up.
Fronts brighter too, nighttime driving has nice blue glow, brightness can be adjusted with factory control too.

The First Edition Evoque has the factory fit ambient lighting as standard, which does look very nice at night.

The centre ICTP touchscreen allows you to change the colour of the lighting to one of many colours. This looks nice around the car and also in the footwell area.

If there is any help I can offer with any photos, please just let us know.

That’s fantastic, unfortunately mine has the low rent ambient lights 🥴
Going to change the door LED’s to blue this weekend so hopefully it will look better
