Hi gav, what does the tuning involve? Does the ecu have to be removed or is it done through the diagnostic port?

It willinvolve messing with arail sensor plug under the bonnet, as its not a remap its just a plug in box.

It a "plug in box" that will increase the digital output signal from the rail pressure sensor to the ecu, as a result therail pressure of the car is instructed by the engine ecu to be increased to meet demand. It does this bychanging thepostion of theFCV (Fuel control Valve) on the injector pump making the injector pump work harder to create more pressure so thecars injector rail gets theforced increase inrail pressure to match the fooled signal. In turnthe engine burns this extra unmeteredfuel.

Just as with any modification it has the possibility to void it depending on how the dealer views it. Some dealers dont like the idea of a car that has had its common rail system over pressured to gain power.

In the first year of launch most manufactuers investigate/monitor every claim so to play with the tune is a big no no. You will blow any warranty out of the window.

So is this a bell auto services product or something else? I read the other forum too and its not clear whether this is the same thing you talk about on there?

Does this require a visit to your workshop or is it user install?
